RedLaser, the popular barcode scanner app by eBay, might revolutionise the way we compare and buy online with Google Glass.

By making use of the already futuristic headpiece, the recently announced Google Glass RedLaser app combines the best of the auction site and the search giant. And at the same time, it is the first eBay app for Google Glass.

When activating the app, the user gets two command options: Find Product and Scan Product.

The voice enables app will let you compare online prices easily by scanning the barcode and giving the ‘Ok glass, find a product’  voice command.

The app will then hunt down the best prices online, and give local offline buying options where possible on the screen.
It even gives users directions to each of the nearby stores.

According to the official press release, the eBay RedLaser app will be “turning you into the ultimate shopper!”
